So I was going to play with close-up shots of water, but then I decided that this little bathroom device would be fun to warp perspective. I almost made a self-portrait with this idea too, but then decided against it. But if you look closely, you can see my magnifying glass technique in action. I have an incredible view of Patterson Peak (and it’s buddies) from my desk at home. This evening, working on a new about-to-be-announced project, I glanced up from my screen and saw the moonrise in purple and blues over Patterson Peak. I think I’m pretty lucky to be able to walk four steps across my living room and grab this shot through the window. More about the new project tomorrow! |
